Lessons can be online through video chat - a stable internet connection is required, but sign ups are welcome from anywhere in the world! In-person lessons are offered in Salt Lake City.

Piano

Emma teaches beginning to advanced piano using a combination of the Faber Piano Adventures method books, technique exercises, and supplementary material based on the student's interests. She offers lessons in almost any genre and incorporates music theory learning on a regular basis.

Oboe

Emma teaches beginning to advanced oboe specialized to the students' needs. She'll incorporate band requirements if applicable or help them learn solo repertoire. In addition, she focuses on strengthening breath and embouchure through a series of warm-ups and exercises.

Composition and Music Production

Emma offers lessons both in compositional techniques and current musical software. Subjects include anything from learning how to write an engaging chord progression to navigating software instruments in a digital audio workstation.

Rates and Payment Plan

After an initial free trial, clients pay a monthly "subscription" of $120 per student for weekly 30 minute lessons if online and $170/month if in the student’s home. This is Emma’s regular rate for a single half hour lesson multiplied by 3.7 as there are an average of 3.7 lessons in a month including the occasional cancellation. The amount can be doubled for weekly hour long lessons with discounts for in-person. Payments are due in advance by the first of each month.​
