About Emma

Emma Sanders is a Utah-based media composer and music teacher who specializes in piano, oboe, voice, and music composition. She began her music career with piano lessons at 5 years old, and her experience now includes over 20 years of study and performance in piano, voice, oboe, and composition. Emma has participated in numerous ensembles such as the Utah Youth Philharmonic and BYU Syncopation, and she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Music from Brigham Young University. For the last 7 years, she has taught lessons professionally both online and in person.

Emma has won multiple awards for her musical expertise including a nomination for the Utah Theater Awards, "Best Original Score" at the One-Reeler short film competition, first place in the Issaquah Philharmonic Orchestra Young Composers' Competition, and highly merited music scholarships. Emma specializes in a wide variety of musical genres, and she loves to learn what each student is passionate about and tailor the lessons to their interests.
